Hallmark -
7x5 Devon Summerhouse
Hallmark's Devon Summerhouse is a popular, light and
airy summerhouse, ideal for the smaller garden. The
double doors are complete with a lock and key, and a
shady 12inch roof overhang to the front elevation.
The Devon Summerhouse is available in
3 sizes - 7x5 (no verandah) or 7x7 & 7x8 (both with
verandah), all models are 7ft
wide (only the length from front to back changes),
and feature two double fixed windows on the front
and side, and
half glazed double doors with antique style door handle. The Hallmark
Devon summerhouse is manufactured by Walton Garden Buildings who are Britain's largest manufacturer of timber garden buildings.

Quality Construction
All Hallmark
Devon summerhouses are manufactured using Pine from well managed sustainable forests. The manufacturer (Walton's) supports the FSC, and is fully committed to the concept of sustainability.
The
Devon is constructed throughout using tongue and groove timber on the walls
with the roof and floor constructed from solid sheeting. Smooth planed framing (27x32mm) has been used internally, and is doubled at the corners for strength. The
larger models features a 704mm deep verandah roof
overhang with slatted open spars on the external floor
area to allow free drainage of standing water. Charcoal
Grey mineral roofing felt is supplied to keep the roof watertight.

Maintenance and Preservative
The Hallmark
Devon summerhouse has been treated with a light brown factory applied base coat. The treatment used is water-based, non-toxic, and environmentally friendly. Once your garden building has been installed, you should continue to maintain it with a good quality preservative every year or two (in accordance with the manufacturers instructions). This will ensure that your building will last for many years.

Doors and Locking System
The Devon summerhouse is supplied with
half-glazed double doors 1.12m (3ft 8in) wide.
Galvanised hinges are used as standard on the doors,
along with an antique latch handle.

Windows and Glazing
The Devon summerhouse is supplied with fixed windows
only on the front next to the half-glazed door,
allowing plenty natural light and ventilation. Styrene (Perspex©) glazing is fitted as standard,
which is safe, and is stronger than it's equivalent in standard glass.

Straight-forward Assembly
These buildings are supplied in flat-pack form with comprehensive instructions. Installation should take about
2 hours. A firm concrete or paved base is recommended to make a sound job, although it can be installed on timber bearers if required. Only basic tools are required, and no professional experience is necessary. Whilst this is predominantly a DIY product, we can provide an INSTALLATION SERVICE throughout most of the UK if required.
