Hallmark - 8x6 Bramble Cottage Playhouse
Hallmark's Bramble Cottage Playhouse is a mansion of a playhouse, with an internal second floor and generous headroom. Light floods in from the 10 windows making it a light and airy fun place to play. The front windows have decorative shutters to the upper level, and window boxes to both. popular, light and airy playhouse built on a 1m high platform. The Bramble Cottage Playhouse is available in 1 size - 8x6 (with internal bunk). All exterior surfaces are manufactured from tongued & grooved timber, and the building is manufactured to European Safety Standard EN71, and includes a safety balcony and balustrade. The Hallmark Bramble Cottage playhouse is manufactured by Walton Garden Buildings who are Britain's largest manufacturer of timber garden buildings.
 


 

Quality Construction
All Hallmark Playhouses are manufactured using Pine from well managed sustainable forests. The manufacturer (Walton's) supports the FSC, and is fully committed to the concept of sustainability. The Bramble Cottage is constructed using tongue and groove timber on the walls. The floor and roof are made in solid sheets. Smooth planed framing (27x44mm) has been used internally, and is doubled at the corners for strength. Green mineral roofing felt is supplied to keep the roof watertight.
 

Maintenance and Preservative
The Hallmark Bramble Cottage Playhouse has been treated with a light brown factory applied base coat. The treatment used is water-based, non-toxic, and environmentally friendly. Once your garden building has been installed, you should continue to maintain it with a good quality preservative every year or two (in accordance with the manufacturers instructions). This will ensure that your building will last for many years.


Doors and Locking System
The Bramble Cottage Playhouse is supplied with a single door 1.5m (5ft) high. Safety hinges, magnetic catches and an antique pull handle are used as standard on the doors.
 
Windows and Glazing
The Bramble Cottage Playhouse is supplied with 10 fixed windows fitted on the front and each side, allowing plenty natural light. Styrene (Perspex©) glazing is fitted as standard, which is safe, and is stronger than it's equivalent in standard glass.
 

Straight-forward Assembly
These buildings are supplied in flat-pack form with comprehensive instructions. Installation should take about 3 hours. A firm concrete or paved base is recommended to make a sound job, although it can be installed on timber bearers if required. This would provide a safe play environment for your children. Only basic tools are required, and no professional experience is necessary. Whilst this is predominantly a DIY product, we can provide an INSTALLATION SERVICE throughout most of the UK if required.

For a long lifespan, you should treat your timber products regularly with a high quality preservative. Moisture dictates the amount that wood expands and contracts, and natural cracks and knots may appear. This is a completely natural occurrence which gives wood it's unique character, and is not be classed as an imperfection or flaw. Generally, plastic or metal sheds are not supplied with a floor as standard, and may be prone to condensation.
