8x6 Avon Octagonal Summerhouse
Hallmark's Avon Octagonal Summerhouse adds a beautiful
decorative focal point for any garden. It is ideally
suited to fit into a corner, maximising space in a
compact garden. It is available in
2 popular sizes - 6x6 and
8x6.
Both feature decorative square leaded styrene
glazing, half-glazed double doors, two fixed and two
opening windows. The Hallmark Avon Octagonal
Summerhouse is supplied with antique style handles
and hinges, and comes with 2 free window boxes. The
Hallmark Avon summerhouse is manufactured by Walton
Garden Buildings who are Britain's largest
manufacturer of timber garden buildings.

Quality Construction
All Hallmark
Avon summerhouses are manufactured using Pine from well managed sustainable forests.
The manufacturer (Walton's) supports the FSC, and is fully committed to the concept of sustainability. The
Avon is constructed throughout using tongue and groove timber
on the walls and floor, please note that no chipboard or OSB
has been used in the construction of the Hallmark
Avon summerhouse. Smooth planed framing (27x44mm) has
been used internally, and is doubled at the corners for
strength. Green mineral roofing felt is supplied to keep the summerhouse roof watertight.

Maintenance and Preservative
The Hallmark
Avon summerhouse has been treated with a light brown factory applied base coat. The treatment used is water-based, non-toxic, and environmentally friendly. Once your garden building has been installed, you should continue to maintain it with a good quality preservative every year or two (in accordance with the manufacturers instructions). This will ensure that your building will last for many years.

Doors and Locking System
The 8x6 Avon summerhouse is supplied with
a half-glazed double door 4' 2" (1.26m) wide. Black japanned antique ironmongery is supplied as standard on the doors and opening windows. An antique latch
and a mortice lock is supplied with the doors.

Windows and Glazing
The Avon summerhouse is supplied with
two fixed windows and two opening windows as
standard. This allows plenty natural light and ventilation. Heavy duty styrene (Perspex©) glazing is fitted as standard. It is very safe, and is stronger than it's equivalent in standard glass.
The large windows are leaded on the outside.

Straight-forward Assembly
These buildings are supplied in flat-pack form with comprehensive instructions. Installation should take about
4 hours. A firm concrete or paved base is recommended to make a sound job, although it can be installed on timber bearers if required. Only basic tools are required, and no professional experience is necessary. Whilst this is predominantly a DIY product, we can provide an INSTALLATION SERVICE throughout most of the UK if required.
