Solid - Log Cabin Garage
The Solid Log Cabin Garage is made in only 1 size - 18x12, but it's available in 2 wall thicknesses - 28mm or 40mm Nordic white pine, with interlocking log walls. The 28mm version is a basic lockup, with double doors on one end, and no windows. The heavy 40mm version is supplied with a single side entrance door, 2 single windows, and shutters.

This building is not supplied with a floor and requires a substantial concrete or paving slab base which is a flat and level to avoid problems during installation.

Quality Construction
These buildings are manufactured using 28mm or 40mm tight-grained Nordic White Pine log boards with an interlocking corner construction.

Preservative
Most buildings in the Solid Log Cabin range are supplied UNTREATED and require a preservative treatment immediately after installation. Some models are available with pressure-treated boards. Click here for details.

Doors and Locking System
This model has a double door as standard and is supplied complete with a lock, key and lever handles. The doors have extra framing which improves strength and combats excess twisting and warping.

Straight-forward Assembly
These buildings are supplied for self assembly by the customer, and instructions and all fixings are supplied, however this type of construction is different from traditional sheds as there is no internal framing, instead, the boards have a half check at each end and the boards interlock providing a very strong unit (please note that a hard, flat base is important). Only basic tools are required, and no professional experience is necessary. Normally 2 people can usually complete the job in a day, however an erecting service is also available at an extra charge if required (depending on your area). Please ask when placing your order.

Moisture dictates the amount that wood expands and contracts, and natural cracks and knots may appear. This is a completely natural occurrence which gives wood it's unique character, and is not be classed as an imperfection or flaw. Generally, plastic or metal sheds are not supplied with a floor as standard, and may be prone to condensation.
