Will you erect my
garden building?
Yes we can offer an erecting service on some
of our buildings*. Please give us a call if you would like a quote for
your area. All our buildings have been designed to be self assembly. All
you need to do is fix the panels together using the simple instructions
and fastenings supplied. If you get stuck, you can call us 01875 613090
if you need any advice during assembly (please see our opening
hours above).
*We cannot service all areas of the UK.

What is the best
site for my building?
A
professionally laid concrete plinth would be best, but is not necessary. Concrete slabs
would be a suitable alternative, as would a "decking style" timber frame. Please our our
building a shed section for details.

Does the price
include treatment?
Most of our wooden buildings are
dip treated in an odourless, anti-fungicidal primer preservative which is
harmless to plants, animals and children when dry. These buildings should
receive a top coat of a proprietary timber preservative immediately after
installation to ensure the longevity of the building.
Log
cabins, and Modular Sheds/Playhouses are supplied "in the
white", and must
be treated at the time of assembly. Plastic and metal buildings do not require
treatment.

Do you deliver to
our area?
Yes. Delivery is
free to Mainland UK, but a few items may have a surcharge if you are
in an area not covered by the manufacturers delivery policy (i.e. The
Highlands and Islands, Northern Ireland, Channel Islands, etc.) Some
buildings are delivered direct by the manufacturer, and they may have a
surcharge for certain areas If
you are outwith a free delivery area there may be a modest extra charge,
but if this was the case you would be notified upon placing your order
(before any funds have been exchanged). Click here to

Are the buildings guaranteed?
Yes.
Our buildings are 100% guaranteed against all manufacturing and
material defects for a full 12 months. This is a parts only guarantee,
and is over and above your statutory rights.
In many cases the buildings come with an extended manufacturers anti-rot
or anti-rust guarantee. These guarantees are issued by the manufacturer,
and do affect your statutory rights.

Do the buildings
have safety glass?
Most
timber buildings come with normal 3mm glass or Perspex glazing, but safety glass may be
available for some buildings at an extra charge. Please click

for details. Metal buildings do not normally have windows, but may have
translucent roof panels to let in light.

include VAT?
Yes. Our prices include VAT
at the current rate of 17.5%.There are no extra charges for delivery*,
insurance or handling either!

you supply a building to my own specifications?
Yes we can, but custom made buildings can be
very expensive to manufacturer and this service is not be possible at our
busiest times.

How long does it take for delivery?
We aim to
have most buildings delivered within 14 working days, but this
does depend upon the exact model you have chosen. At
the busiest times of the year however, delivery times do tend to
lengthen due to overwhelming demand, but the approximate delivery times for
each range of products will be shown at the bottom of that particular
section, although these times cannot be guaranteed. Many of our
products are delivered to you direct from the manufacturer, which does
tend to save those
important few days, but if delivery lead times are very
important to you please

you send me a colour brochure?
Yes.
We can send you a manufacturers colour brochure for some products, but
not all. Please remember that due to
the competitive nature of the internet, the prices on our website

do I place my order?
The simplest way is to click

building of your choice. This will take you through our shopping basket
setup and you will eventually reach the 100% secure server to give your
credit card details. You can pull out of placing your order at any time
before you submit your card details. Once your details have been accepted
you will immediately receive a fully detailed confirmation email, and an
invoice/receipt for your records later once your details have been
checked. Please note that your web browser must be enabled to accept
cookies in order for the shopping basket to work correctly.

For your security and peace of mind, we
operate a secure e-commerce card-based payment process. Our credit card data
entry and transaction confirmation pages are held upon and operated by a 'Thawte'
certified secure server provided by Secure Hosting Ltd (a UK company). The
server facility operates to a 128bit level of encryption, the strongest
commercial level of secure encryption currently available. All data entry,
transfer, storage and collection of your payment details shall be undertaken
securely, always using the same 128bit level of encryption. Your payment
details shall never be transferred by any unsecured method, such as by email
for example. See below for further information from our secure server host.

"We use industry standard
Internet encryption with 128 bit SSL software developed by RSA Data. We hold
a digital certificate from 'Thawte', which is compatible with Netscape and
Microsoft browsers. When the customer enters your order form hosted on our
secure server their browser will automatically inform them that encryption
is being used.
To give you some indication of the level of encryption used, it would take a
hacker working with a Pentium computer something like the age of the earth
to crack a message encrypted with 128bit SSL. Furthermore, all data stored
on the secure server is protected by a firewall, the specification of which
has been recognized by the major banks. Your customers' card details are
kept confidential at all times".

cancellation
Your right to cancel the contract starts from the
day the contract is made and ends on the expiry of 7 working days following
the day after
you receive the goods. You must email us at
sales@gerrico.co.uk. stating your full name, address
and purchase order number, upon which you will be given a cancellation
number. We regret that we cannot accept any returned goods without this
number. If you have already been notified regarding your delivery date we
cannot guarantee that we will be able to stop you receiving your goods. If
this is the case you can still cancel your order, but you must return the goods
to our address above, (or make the goods available for
collection by us). We will only pay return carriage charges if the goods are
faulty, otherwise you will be liable for all return carriage charges, which
will be deducted from your refund. A cancellation charge may be levied by the
manufacturer if production has started on a non-stock item or if delivery has
been scheduled by a third party. You will receive your refund at the full
purchase price paid (including any initial delivery delivery charges) within
30 days of your cancellation.
This does not affect your statutory rights as a
consumer.
