Heavy 15mm Apex Shed
Our Kiln Dried Apex
Sheds are built to a high standard using
redwood shiplap pine sourced
from managed forests. They are available in 4 popular sizes (6x4,
7x5,
8x6 and 10x6) and are
supplied with heavy 15mm Tongue and Groove
shiplap weatherboard walls, roofs and floors. The door is pre-fitted
on the shorter gable end, and a steep pointed roof ensures against
sagging. The 10x6 model has double doors
as standard, all other models have a single door.
Heat-Treated
Pine
Because all timbers have been heat-treated,
there will be virtually no shrinkage of the weatherboarding during
the summer months. This process also combats the likelihood of dead
knot-holes appearing.
Weatherproof
Fully pre-treated with a quality
2 year water-based,
anti-fungicidal, mould and insect resistant wood preservative, and
supplied with premium grade
heavy-duty roofing felt.

Quality Construction
All buildings are manufactured
using smooth rounded 45x27mm framing throughout. Heavy 15mm thick shiplap
cladding is used throughout. Pre-fitted glass windows (4mm thick) with
galvanised metal window sills are supplied as standard.
Long-Life Preservative
These sheds are treated inside and out with a high quality
2-year water-based
preservative, which provides anti-fungicidal, mould-resistant and
insect-resistant protection. Treatment also provides UV protection.
Security
Non-Rust Brass effect padbolt and door fittings are supplied as
standard. Additional security items are also available if required
(see below)
Straight-forward Assembly
These buildings are supplied in an easy to assemble flat-pack,
with a pre-fitted doors, pre-fitted glass windows and an integral
aluminium window sill. Easy-to-follow assembly instructions and full
fixing kit are supplied. The window section can be placed on the
left or right-hand side of the shed. Only basic
tools are required, and no professional experience is necessary.
Normally 2 people can usually complete the job in 2-3 hours (depending
upon the size), but we can
provide an erecting service* if required.
